If anyone had of told us we would still be live lining in November we would have laughed at the thought of using spot to catch nice rockfish this late in the year.  However weird it may be, we are still catching our load of nice fat keeper rockfish up to 32 or 33 inches every trip.  The unusually mild fall has also allowed us to troll on large bluefish catching up to forty 5-9lb bluefish in the middle of October.  As the weather pattern is anticipated to change over the next few weeks, we have prepared the Fin Finder and are armed and dangerous, ready for the fall run of our trophy Stripers.  Whether we are trolling the shallows for our large resident fish who are finally abandoning their summertime hideouts, or putting out the big guns for the migrant trophies you can rest assured that the Fin Finder is ready for action.  We still have a few dates left in November and December and they going fast so hurry up and give us a call to get your dates…. …. ….

On December 17th we (Capt. Greg Buckner and Capt Andrew Turner) will be heading south on the "Fin Finder" to fish the VA Beach Winter Striped Bass Season.  The fishing out of Rudee Inlet, VA late December and January is simply amazing.  In fact, the waters off of VA Beach, VA serve as wintering grounds for close to the entire East Coast Stock of Adult Migratory Striped Bass.  The massive schools of baitfish called Menhaden serve to keep the Stripers feeding all winter.  With so much bait and so many Trophy Stripers in the area at the same time, the fishing action is truly world class.  We are offering a package deal, in order to offer our customers a great fishing get-away at a reasonable price.  Our package includes the following..........
An afternoon charter departing around noon
A morning charter departing just before first light on the following day
The tip for the mate on both trips
Fish cleaning (Ocean regs allow 2 Stripers over 28inches per person/per day)
Three hotel rooms with two beds per room for the night after the PM charter

All of this for just $330 per person for six passengers.  Because of US Coast Guard Ocean rules, we can only carry six passengers.  Don't miss your chance to experience Trophy Striper fishing at its best.  Pick from the dates below and give us a call
